AI training for leadership teams, employees, and HR
Your employees are already using AI, many on personal accounts. On-site workshops teach them to use it responsibly to get value and drive innovation, from the leadership team to HR.
Book 45 minutesDo we need AI training if we already have an AI policy?
Yes. A policy states intent. It does not show that anyone knows the rule or can follow it, and restricting access moves use onto personal devices, where the business loses the record of what went in.
57%
of employees hide their AI use and claim the output as their own.
88%
of employees with enterprise AI access still use personal AI tools.
$670K
added to the average breach cost where shadow AI use was high.
3.2x
more likely to drive effective process improvement once employees are proficient across multiple AI uses.

What should AI training for employees include?
Hands-on practice on real work, the security settings that protect company data, and the specific behaviors the policy expects. Every session runs this way:
- On-site, on real work. Participants work in their own tools on tasks from their own jobs.
- Security settings change in the room. Model-training opt-outs are set before anyone types a prompt, and the session covers what never goes into a public AI tool.
- Governance is taught as behavior. A policy becomes a control when people have acknowledged it and been trained on the behaviors it expects, with a record of both.
- Participants leave with working tools. AI Do's and Don'ts, What AI Can Do For You, Find Your LLM Chatbot Use Cases, the Write In My Voice Skill Builder, the AI Policy Guide and Workbook, and the AI Tool Inventory and Guide, matched to the session.
Workshops and programs
Executive AI briefing
Starting at $3,500 | 2 hours, leadership team
What AI is and is not, where it already sits in the tools the business pays for, where the risk sits, and how leadership decides where AI applies.
Hands-on AI literacy
Starting at $5,000 | Half day, up to 25 people
Fundamentals, data security settings, prompting on real work, and a custom GPT or Claude Project built by each participant before they leave.
AI governance for HR
Starting at $6,000 | Half day, HR and people leaders
Built on the 2026 Colorado SHRM State Conference session. Which AI tools touch employment decisions, which laws apply based on where employees and applicants are, and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework worked end to end on one tool the team already uses. Includes the AI Policy Guide and Workbook and the AI Tool Inventory and Guide.
Champion network design
Starting at $8,000 | Design, launch, and champion training
A network of power users who keep adoption going after training ends, gather requirements, and surface risks. Built on champion networks at four employers, including 118 champions across a 2,000-employee company.
Multi-week cohort
Starting at $18,000 | 4 on-site sessions over 6 to 8 weeks
The literacy, executive, and governance material in sequence, with practice on real work between sessions.
Prices are per session and delivered on-site. Travel outside the Denver metro area is billed at cost for reasonable accommodations.
How much does AI training cost?
Workshops start at $3,500 for a two-hour executive briefing and $5,000 for a half-day hands-on session. The multi-week cohort starts at $18,000. Every session is delivered on-site, and the 45-minute call sets scope and price.
AI speaker for conferences, associations, and leadership events
Keynotes from $7,500 and conference breakouts from $3,500, plus travel. Panels, podcasts, and university and association talks are booked case by case.
Topics
- Governance through people. Banning AI does not produce governance. Skill does. A policy states intent, and it becomes a control once people have acknowledged it and been trained on it.
- Frameworks over statutes. Colorado repealed and replaced its AI law before it took effect, and the EU moved its employment deadline out 16 months. A program built on the NIST AI Risk Management Framework maps each new law into controls already in place.
- Start with the work. Diagnose before buying. Value streams decomposed to the job role show where time and margin leak, and the answer is not always AI.
- Adoption is change. Performance dips after any change. With AI, people fill the dip with personal tools. The goal is a shorter dip, and champion networks are how.

Does the EU AI Act require AI literacy training?
Article 4 of the EU AI Act has required organizations in its scope to take measures supporting the AI literacy of staff who operate AI since February 2, 2025. Laws apply based on where employees and applicants are, not where the company is headquartered. Ask your counsel whether it applies to you.
Is the HR governance workshop legal advice?
No. Ashley is not an attorney. The session is built from delivery experience inside regulated companies and is meant to support the conversation with your own counsel.
Can training be the first step toward a bigger engagement?
Often. A multi-state payments operator started with leadership training in March 2026 and signed a Ground Truth Assessment in August. Training is also sold on its own with no commitment beyond the session. See the Ground Truth Assessment.
